Set among fifteen acres of open hayfields, Hitching Post events operates an event hosting company at the historic Nutt Farm in Ravenna.  You'll be greeted by the owners, Paul & Julie, who treat every event like it's being held for family.  It's personal to us.  We also have two very talented floral designers & event managers on-site. Greg & Julie design with flowers, beadwork and wirework to provide exquisite detail to your bouquets.

We've learned over the years that things don't have to be complicated to be memorable.  So we invite you to leave your stress back in the city & learn how good simple can feel. To help ease you into this country state of mind, we do offer catering, event planning, wedding jewelry and wedding floral services as well.  So you can leave as many or as few of the detail to us as you like.

We also operate a small hobby farm on the property and have an expanded family on the grounds to greet you.  When you stop by to take a tour, you'll likely be greeted by a couple of dogs & cats, a pot bellied pig, two silly goats, a pair of burros, a handful of horses and some chickens who'll follow you around. If you show up during haying time, we will put you to work
